Waddle Doo

Waddle Doo as he appears in the anime, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

[edit] Background

Waddle Doo is a very basic enemy, appearing in pretty much every game that Waddle Dee has. Defeating him is very simple, but you have to be a little more careful because of his electric beam. In most games, Waddle Doo will walk around, jumping and strolling as Waddle Dee does. But at random times he'll stop moving, quickly charge up, then shoot his beam. After that he'll continue walking. Other then that Waddle Doo is harmless, but not nearly as innocent as Waddle Dee. Getting rid of him is fairly easy, and the quickest way is to already have an ability and attack while he's not expecting it. Swallowing him up is also simple. You can shoot him back out of your mouth too, but he will give you the beam ability, a basic yet effective power.

Waddle Doo looks much like Waddle Dee. He has a round figure with stubby arms and big feet. His feet are purple. The main trait that sets Waddle Doo apart is his huge one eye, located right in the middle of his body. This eye is used to shoot his beam. In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, his appearance changes ever so slightly. He now carries a small sword and a case which is wrapped around his...shoulder.

[edit] In the Anime

Waddle Doo is one of the many members of the castle, but he plays an important role in keeping everything organized. He seems to be the leader of the Waddle Dees. He's also the only one who can speak their "language", which is strange because at times he doesn't appear to have a mouth. It's not known why, but Waddle Doo is very faithful to King Dedede, though you can't call the little guy evil. Sadly, this Waddle Doo can't seem to shoot a laser beam from his eye. At least he carries around his little sword.

[edit] Other Appearances

Like Waddle Dee, Waddle Doo appeared in King Dedede's final smash in Super Smash Bros Brawl. He did exactly what he does in Kirby games, walk around and shoot lasers. He still wasn't very strong and could be gotten rid of fairly easily.
